| WELCOME!!! To Silver Hill Boys & Girls Club, the home of the "Bears". The Silver Hill Boys & Girls Club was established in 1956, which gives our club 51 years of an experienced and supervised athletic program. Silver Hill Boys & Girls Club provides guidance to the youth of the surrounding communities. We have programs in Football, Cheerleading, Pee-Wee Basketball, Youth Basketball, T-Ball, and Youth Baseball . We look forward to you joining our club and we’ll look forward to working with your wonderful children. The Club has provided youth athletic programs valued in excess of $2.5 million dollars. Parents and coaches volunteer $75,000 worth of their time each year to the club. More than 30,000 community youths (under the age of 18) have been members of the club. No youth is denied membership because of race or religion, nor is any youth denied membership for lack of finances. The Club is a private, non-profit corporation. The Club receives NO funds from federal, state or county governments, or from the United Givers Fund. BOTTOM LINE: Your contribution will be used to better our program for the youth of our community. |
To foster respect for authority, for without it, chaos exists. To encourage the business of becoming independent, becoming an individual, becoming aware of what the world has to offer. To create challenges for bodies, minds and capabilities because without challenge, talent and genius will die. To provide the athletic programs and the volunteer leaders to fight drugs and build Prince George’s County future adults. |
