PRINCE GEORGES’ COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE REGISTRATION
Coaches: The Commissioner, with Board concurrence, selects coaches. Any
concerns with these selections must be made in writing to the
Commissioner or Board of Directors.
Uniforms: Our equipment and uniforms are not new, except for replacements and fill
-ins to keep up our count. All equipment issued by this club meets county
safety requirements. All players must wear the uniforms issued by the Club,
no MIXING or ALTERATIONS will be allowed. Any sport where socks or
t-shirts are not issued the color will be WHITE.
Team Pictures: SHB&GC does not condone team pictures and is not responsible for
any pictures. (ALL pictures are taken at your own risk).
Each Silver Hill parent is responsible for:
1. Working at the Food Stand and participatING in Fundraisers.
2. Transporting your child to and from games and practices on time.
3. Conduct yourselves as a responsible adult. Profanity, negative outbursts,
drinking alcoholic beverages and behavior (by Adult or child) that
embarrasses the Club will not be tolerated. YOU WILL BE DISMISSED.
4. All equipment and uniforms MUST be returned back to Silver Hill at
the last scheduled game or when the player quits.
5. Voice all complaints in writing to the Sports Commissioner, or the Board
of Directors.
6. The Silver Hill Boys & Girls Club is an Incorporated organization, selling of
products containing Silver Hill’s NAME or LOGO is NOT ALLOWED.
Purchase of team jackets, sweat suits, etc. must be approved by Board of
Directors.
7. NO refunds will be given after the START of the regular season. (COUNTY
DUES AND THE COST OF SOCKS, JERSEYS, CAPS IF ISSUED WILL BE
DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND).
8. FEES MUST BE PAID IN CASH OR MONEY ORDER IN PERSON. YOU MAY
NOW PAY BY CREDIT CARD ON-LINE AT WWW.SILVERHILLBGC.COM.
CLICK ON THE LINK NOW REGISTERING ONLINE. THERE IS A $3.00
CONVENIENCE CHARGE.
9. Playing time/positions must be at the coaches’ discretion. (Safety dictates
their decisions). All players must report to the #1 team. PLAYERS MUST
PLAY IN THEIR AGE BRACKET unless no team is available at that age
level OR younger players are needed to fill an older team. Board of
Directors will make this decision.
10. The PG County Offices does not grant WAIVERS. You must play for the
Club in your area. (If you moved and still live in PG County you can stay).
11. Individual team parties/banquets are not sanctioned by the Club. Funding
for these functions will not be solicited from outside sources. THE
SHB&GC HOLDS ITS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET AT THE COMPLETION
OF EACH SPORT.
